The Pyros are a Burlington, Vermont rock band lighting sparks from the past and carrying them into the present. Their sound fuses the infectious energy of the 60’s British Invasion with the shimmer of jangle pop, the grit of fuzz, and the tidal pull of surf, all refracted through the modern lens of indie and psychedelic rock.

 

The four-piece—built on the classic lineup of organ, guitar, bass, and drums—thrives on collaboration. While guitarist and lyricist Steven Yardley crafts words that crackle with raw honesty and wit, the band forges their instrumental ideas together in their home studio. It’s a process rooted in friendship, and the shared drive to make something greater than themselves.
